Good Morning, Friends!
These last few days have been so fulfilling, as well as busy for me, when it comes to writing about my short story. This will be the first one I’ll have done in so many, many years. I’ve been working on planning out how I want to approach starting, continuing and finishing my story, and will discuss how I came about doing so this week. As I’m using No Plot? No Problem! as my writing guide and coach, I’ve also decided to pick up a few books from my local library to help me on this journey through creative writing. I will let you guys know what ones I like or work best for me and why within the next few weeks as well.
Since I talked about what I would like to do for April, I feel the best course of action, in regards to my posting schedule, would be for me to talk about my step-by-step journey every day as it’s happening. This should give me plenty of time to track my word count on here as well as story’s progress. That being said, my schedule for April 1 through April 30 will be a post every day at 1PM EST. Depending on how this goes, I will do the same in July and in November. As someone who doesn’t like spoilers, I’ve been rather vague about the details of my short story, since I have decided that I will post the final piece of my short story for you guys on the first of May, 2018, right here on my blog.
Again, it’s not too late to start a story of your own and to join my camp on Camp NaNoWriMo! 1 more day until cabins are assigned, and 7 days until camp officially starts!
I’m looking forward to taking this journey with you guys. Enjoy your weekend, and I’ll see you Wednesday for more Camp preparations.
